Russell & Russell Solicitors were delighted to attend the annual Boot Out Breast Cancer Ladies’ Lunch fundraiser, held at Rivington Barn. Managing Partner, Jane Penman, attended this wonderful event, along with Michelle Moss, Louise Rance, Rebecca Chase, Sonya Mehmood, Fiona White, Kelly Jackson, Lauren Gratrix, and Zoe Harryman, where they joined others in support of a cause that means a great deal to so many.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Rivington Barn, the event brought people together for an inspiring day focused on raising awareness and showing support for breast cancer fundraising efforts. It was a pleasure for our colleagues to be there and to take part in such a positive and uplifting occasion.
More About Boot Out Breast Cancer
Boot Out Breast Cancer was set up in 2010 by Debbie Dowie, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Many women receive a diagnosis each year, and the team at Boot Out Breast Cancer wants to make a difference.
Since its first fundraising event in November 2010, the organisation has raised over £ 1.8 million. This has helped the charity to provide equipment for The Royal Bolton NHS Hospital, The Nightingale Centre NHS hospital in South Manchester, Thomas Linacre Breast Centre at Wrightington Wigan and Leigh NHS Hospital, Leighton NHS Hospital in Crewe, Chorley NHS Hospital, The Broadgreen NHS Hospital in Liverpool and the Paterson Institute next to The Christie. This vital equipment is saving theatre time, anaesthetic, and, as they believe, providing that early diagnosis, which is key to ultimately saving lives.
Proud To Support Local Charities
We would like to thank Debbie Dowie, Founder and Chair of Boot Out Breast Cancer, for organising such a memorable event and for the work that went into making the day such a success. We are always proud to support events that bring communities together and shine a light on important causes.
