Louise is an equity partner and head of the wills and probate department, based at the firm's Farnworth office. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2002 after completing an undergrad degree in English Language and Linguistics. Louise went on to undertake a Law Conversion and LPC at The College of Law in Chester, qualifying in 2007. The same year, she joined Russell & Russell on a training contract, and was admitted as a Solicitor in 2009.
She’s a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), an independent organisation of solicitors, barristers, and chartered legal executives who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers. She also holds her Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation, a qualification she gained through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). This enables Louise to advise on a range of much more complex areas of will drafting and probate law. She is also a Dementia friends champion and is on the board of trustees for Bolton Dementia Support.
Louise has two young children and enjoys spending time as a family and socialising with friends.
