To celebrate welcoming Wrigley Claydon into the Russell & Russell family, more than 100 of us got together at our Atria Office for a firm-wide networking afternoon, with a team quiz at the heart of the event. Colleagues came from every branch, including our newest offices in Oldham and Todmorden. It was a great chance to put faces to names and get to know our new colleagues away from the normal working day. With the midpoint of our financial year approaching, it was also our way of saying thank you to everyone for their hard work this year.
Richard Querelle, Conveyancing Partner and Director at Russell & Russell, took to the mic as our Quiz Master for the afternoon, and Jack Bakker devised the quiz questions. So, if you’re still thinking about a question that you got wrong, you know who to ask!
Now, drumroll please for the results…. Congratulations to Fabulous Four, who took the top spot and went home with a set of vouchers. The Quizards of Oz won a box of chocolates for ‘Best Team Name’, which we think is well deserved. The losing team of the day, the Legal Eagles, collected the wooden spoon; someone had to!
With good food, good drink and a room full of people enjoying a bit of downtime together, it was a brilliant afternoon. As one colleague put it, “It was so much fun”.
Thank you to our clients for bearing with us while our offices were closed for the afternoon; we are now back open as usual. And once again, a warm welcome to our Wrigley Claydon colleagues.
