Thalia studied her Bachelor of Laws in Leeds, where she graduated in 2022. Following her Law Degree Thalia went on to study the Bar Practice Course at the University of Law, alongside her Masters of Bar Practice of Law. Thalia became an un-registered Barrister having been called to the bar of England and Wales in 2024.
Thalia started her legal career as a paralegal on the Covid-19 Inquiry on the Cabinet and Home Office team. Thalia has always held Criminal Law at the focus of her studies having selected to study modules such as; Criminal Evidence, Anti-Terrorism Law, and International Human Rights Law. Thalia has experience doing pro-bono cases in areas such as Domestic Violence, Court of Protection and Prison Law.
Having joined Russell & Russell Solicitors as a Trainee Solicitor, Thalia has been an instructing solicitor in various areas of crime such as, murder & attempt murder, various sexual offences, and conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Thalia is also completing her Police Station Accreditation.
Outside of work, Thalia enjoys a variety of sports such as football, running and hiking with her family, friends, and of course her two cockapoos Mabel and Polly. Thalia is also gaining her Private Pilots License, to fuel her passion for travel.
